Description
Kraków's largest synagogue, dating back to 1638 and located near the southwestern edge of the Remuh Cemetery, was partially destroyed during WWII, but was given back to its Jewish community in 1989. The synagogue has since been restored, preserving the original stucco work and wall-painting. It now contains a modest exhibit, titled 'In Memory of Polish Jews', as well as a small kosher food shop.
