- Płaszów Labour Camp
Description
Entering via ul Jerozolimska or the path along the edge of the Liban Quarry, it is difficult to locate the former Płaszów forced-labour and concentration camp. Besides a few plaques, almost nothing remains of the camp, which at its height in 1943-44 held up to 25,000 people, and was established by occupying Germans during WWII to liquidate the nearby Podgórze Jewish ghetto.
