- Piłsudski Mound
Description
Marshal Józef Piłsudski's mound-based memorial was constructed in 1935 in commemoration of his death. This memorial was formed with soil taken from Polish battlefields during World War I. You can enjoy a stunning view of the city from this memorial, and the nearest public transport is Bus 134, which terminates at the zoo. The Kościuszko Mound is also accessible to the memorial on foot by way of a clearly marked trail. This journey will take around 2½ hours.
