Description

Located close to the northern end of ul Szeroka, the Remuh Synagogue is one of only two in the district still used for religious services. Established in 1558 by rich merchant Israel Isserles, this is the district's smallest synagogue and is associated with his son, Rabbi Moses Isserles, the philosopher and scholar. Admission fees will provide access to the cemetery adjacent to this synagogue.
