Begin your exploration of the State Rooms at the entrance in the southeastern corner of the courtyard. As you ascend to the second floor, you will pass through a series of two-dozen rooms and chambers of the castle, restored to their original Renaissance and early-baroque style, and filled with period furnishings, paintings, tapestries, and works of art. This spectacular exhibition is the largest and most impressive in the castle.
